All Berrug rugs are handmade in Morocco by skilled artisans using traditional weaving techniques. Each piece is produced in small batches or as one-of-one items.

Most of our rugs are made from 100% wool. If a rug includes a cotton base or mixed fibers, it will always be clearly stated on the product page.

Many rugs are one-of-one. For made-to-order or custom rugs, we recreate the design as closely as possible, but slight variations are normal in handmade work.

Typical delivery takes 3–10 business days after your order has been processed (handling time is usually 1–3 business days). During busy periods or holidays, processing may take slightly longer.

We offer free worldwide shipping on all orders. If any limitation applies, it will be displayed at checkout.

Yes. Light shedding is normal for new wool rugs and usually decreases over time.

We recommend brushing your rug regularly with a soft or medium rug brush to lift the pile, remove dust, and keep the wool looking fresh-especially in high-traffic areas.

Yes, but gently. Use a low setting and avoid aggressive rotating brushes if your rug is very fluffy. Brushing is the best routine method to maintain the texture.

Blot (don’t rub). Use cold water and a small amount of mild soap. Test on a small area first. Let it air dry completely.

No. We do not recommend machine washing. For deep cleaning, use professional cleaning when needed.

Natural wool can have a mild scent at first. Airing the rug for 24–48 hours typically helps.
